Our first experience with Hirata's involved body work on our Model A Ford, our Nitro Bass Boat and our Nissan Armada. Dave and his team provided us with fantastic results on all three vehicles for a very fair and reasonable price. Last week we noticed that someone had hit our Honda CR-Z while in a parking lot. There was red paint along the side of the car and the sideview mirror as nearly broken off. We immediately went to Hirata's for the repair. The entire staff at Hirata's is friendly, professional and efficient. The estimate took 10 minutes and Dave personally explained the cost factors. Upon receiving the mirror, they called to schedule the appointment and we were able to get the car in the next day. Cindy told us it would probably take 2 days but she called us the net day to say the car was complete. The entire time frame from estimate to completion was 1 week. Our car looks brand new AND the cost for the repair was lower than the estimate (because the mirror came pre-painted and the work to remove the red paint on the side of the car wasn't as involved as Dave thought it would be). If you want quality work done for a fair price and on a timely basis, you'd better go to Lowell Body Shop/Hirata's!
I had brought my brand new Dodge Charger Daytona in with about a 1 inch scratch. I got the car back with about a 3 inch circle of of primer coming threw paint. I brought it back only to be shown the car in a low light wash rack. Took it home. Only to see cracked clear coat about 12 inches! My bumper cover was what seemed to be melted and warped. My trunk interior trim pieces were destroyed!!! Overspray all over the clips that I had to clean. They ruined my very expensive Daytona. BEWARE !!!!
Didn't check both sides of my vehicle when I got into an accident with my brand new vehicle. Suffice to say I left with a cracked side view mirror and they wouldn't do anything about it.
