everyone was wonderful. my husband was cared for kindly, compassionately and regained his health due to their knowledge and care
Looks great on the outside, but after my grandfather spending 3.5 months there we were constantly frustrated and distraught by the lack of care provided and how both major and minor issues were addressed. A few good CNA's but the nursing staff and administration was awful. Absolutely no suggestions ever made by various family members were met, from checking health concerns to basic comfort. Staff was quickly frazzled, rude and openly impatient by a simple old man trying to adjust. After being identified as a fall risk, they took away his bed and forced him to sleep on a little pad on the ground where he frequently hit his head against the wall. As a result, he was all of the sudden constantly covered in sores, swollen everywhere and plagued by a UTI and drugged with four pages of medication. This restless old man was then was only sleeping all of the time. After a transfer to a new place, these problems suddenly healed and now he is making progress again. If you care about your loved one, DO NOT TAKE THEM TO CEDAR CREEK in Lowell. Very misleading appearance from the actual "care" provided.
