We had a technician, Gordon, come out to fix our furnace. After going over the sounds it was making and what it was doing, he "fixed" it. He did not cycle the furnace before he left. It clicked on, motor and all was running and he was on his way. (KEEP IN MIND WORKING MOTOR).Three days later we had them come back because the day after he came and "fixed" the problem, it stopped working!!! AGAIN!!! The same problem. The same kid, Gordon, came back out. Blew on a drainage pipe without taking it apart to make sure it was clear, unhooked and took apart a WORKING MOTOR, because he said several things could be wrong... and told us the motor was bad. Low and behold it was running prior to and after he left the SECOND TIME. The working motor ran CONSTANTLY, which we informed him in the first place and just wouldn't fire. THE THIRD TIME!! The same kid, and a very nice tech came out and we AGAIN went over the issue. This time we found an unhooked drain pipe and confronted them about it. We were questioned about unhooking the motor (which is how we found a missing screw and an unhooked drain pipe). Hence competent company. AFTER THE OWNER FINALLY CALLED AND THE "OLD FURNACE", as he called it, WHICH WAS SO OLD IT WAS UNDER WARRANTY (enter sarcasm here), and now refused to fix it. The owner questioned our itegrity and all we asked after giving this pathetic company THREE ATTEMPTS TO FIX THIS FURNACE was that we did not use the same technician! WHICH WOULD MAKE THE FOURTH TIME. We have always kept our business local. LESSON LEARNED. We are now calling ILLIANA and are receiving our initial monies back from the first service call with Davco.
Our furnace got flooded and had to be replaced. Despite the age of the house, and pour condition of the basement, they were able to get the new furnace installed, connected and fully functional.
The guy sold me the WRONG motor and when I went back to return it the old prick threatened me and said that he's been around the " corner" too long whatever the hell that means and he would go a few rounds and beat my ass! WHO the hell does this?!! Lol I can't make this up. I Had to go to the cops and the officer did in FACT made out a police report! TERRIBLE COMPANY!!! TERRIBLE PEOPLE!! NEVER GO THERE!!! If you even think about going there you may as well take out your money and throw it in the garbage (I wish I had) and save yourself the headache of dealing with such PATHETIC people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of the worst companies to deal with. Comparable to Comcast customer service, a giant pain in the ass. They lie about attempting to contact you and stopping by when they said they would. They came to service our water heater and furnace several times (not my choice) and we have not had 1 positive experience. No one there seems to know what they're doing or how to run a business. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else but here. I wish I had better things to say about Davco because I like to support small businesses. But I have no idea how they're still in operation.
